Here is all the information you need regarding working with WordPress users in WP Foundry. The instructions below refer to the users page of WP Foundry:
Listing users
Click on the ‘Get user list’ button to get an updated list of users on your site.
Details shown are: ID, user login name, user display name, user email, date registered, and user role.
Editing users
Selecting a user opens the ‘Edit selected user’ form:
Editable fields are:
- User display name
- User email
- User password
- User role
Selecting the ‘Skip email confirmation’ box prevents a notification email being sent to the user.
The user may be deleted by clicking the ‘Delete user’ button.
Adding Users
Clicking the ‘Add new user’ button opens the ‘Add new user’ form:
Use this form to create a new user. Available fields to set are:
- Username
- User display name
- User email
- User password
- User role
Check the ‘Send notification email to user’ box to send a notification email to the user’s email address. If this box is unchecked, no notification email will be sent.
