WP Foundry is a desktop app for administering WordPress sites from one place. You can manage plugins, themes, core, users, backups, and security checks across multiple sites, without opening each wp-admin in a browser.

A Pro license currently costs $10 and unlocks unlimited sites. It includes one year of updates, and you can keep using the latest version available during your licensed period forever (see the perpetual license page).

Yes. The free tier includes all features but is limited to 2 WordPress sites. Get a free or paid license on the buy now page.

WP Foundry runs on your computer (Windows, Mac, and Linux). For each WordPress site you manage, you need:

• The WP Foundry Helper plugin installed and activated
• WP-CLI available on the server
• HTTPS access to the site (preferred; local HTTP is supported for development)

You connect using the site URL and the helper’s shared secret. You do not need remote shell access.

Releases are available for Windows, Mac, and Linux. A free license lets you try WP Foundry with up to two sites before buying Pro. Get a license here.

If you have a standard WordPress install where you can install plugins and WP-CLI is available, it should work. Some hosts may block Application Passwords or REST routes. If connection tests fail, check security plugins and host firewalls. Try with a free license first.

Yes. Each site needs the WP Foundry Helper plugin. The desktop app sends authenticated HTTPS requests to the helper, which runs WP-CLI commands on the server.
