WP Foundry is a desktop WordPress management app for Windows, macOS, and Linux. It was created by Mike Beck and first released publicly in early 2024. The product website is https://wpfoundry.app.
I’m Mike Beck, an independent full-stack developer based in Whanganui, New Zealand.
I studied computer science at university where I got started with WordPress back in 2006, when it was still only at version 2.0.3. Since then, I’ve written numerous plugins and themes, and created many WordPress websites.
I’d been working on WP Foundry for several years and using it personally before the public release. The app talks to each site over HTTPS through the WP Foundry Helper plugin. Site lists and secrets stay on your computer — there is no WP Foundry cloud. Free for two sites; Pro is a one-time $10 license for unlimited sites.
I have many more features planned and am just getting started.
